Sending Flowers issue

Does it happen to you often? You need to send flowers online, than you type in google "send flowers" and searching engine will transfer "your toughts" to a "middle man", who is trying to sell you a crap - well dried flowers, super artificial flowers buckets, ugly old fashioned flower combinations and so on...
Well don't suffer anymore, there is a cure for everything.

Here is some suggestions:

- Always go locally. Yes in these globalization times going other way is solution and will bring you some suprisely nice results.
- Don't type "send flowers to..."

but

"send flowers.../name of the city/ - you will be surprised how many local florists will try to do job for you. Waiting for your order, with fresh flowers and local "taste"

- Spend little more time with google, go to florists directories, search them all.

- Find flower forums - get latest informations and trends from them.

- Don't be cheap, trust me it is worth it
type designer florist.../location/ and you and your love will impressed, for a while...

Good luck

Send Flowers not "Funeral flowers"

Send Flowers not "Funeral flowers"

Flowers can be frequently and easily used as gifts. Whether you are invited to someone
home or would like to send a thank you gift, flowers are always appropriate. However, you’d better pay attention to local customs and traditions, when giving gifts overseas or to visitors here, as the meanings of different flowers are not the same everywhere in the world.

England -
In England for example, you can certainly bring flowers, when invited to a home, but stay

away from white lilies as they signify death. As in England, in many other countries a

particular color or type of flower is related with romance, weddings, or funerals.

Typically, red roses are reserved for romantic gift giving. In general, never bring roses,

as they are usually considered too personal, even if they are not red.

Mostly in Europe -
The following flowers can have a connection with funerals in certain ethnicities: lilies,

chrysanthemums, white roses, marigolds, and carnations. In Italy for example avoid

chrysanthemums. In some countries it is customary to give an even number of flowers, in

others odd numbers. In Europe, the old European tradition of always giving an odd number of

flowers is still followed today, all except 13, which is considered unlucky.

Thailand -
In Thailand however, it is marigold and carnations that are associated with funerals.

Egypt -
Oh, and in Egypt, flower giving is even reserved for funerals and weddings only. Just

Egyptians, who know about western traditions, will understand the gesture of flower giving

for other occasions.

Japan
In Japan, ensure you are not giving the “bad luck” number of four and nine flowers per

bouquet.

How to save money - sending flowers

First you need to understand how the flower business works. Anytime you order flowers for delivery outside of your local area, the florist uses a floral network such as FTD or Teleflora to relay your order to another florist in the location you want it delivered. This florist creates your flower arrangement, delivers it, and then charges a reduced price to the florist who took the order. The problem is that the florist taking your order does not make enough profit from this, so they charge you an extra fee. They call it a "delivery fee", "wire fee", "service fee", or "surcharge" and most of the time don't even tell you about it until right before you pay for the order.
Thats why if you are buying flowers online - try to go as much locally as you CAN!!!

TIPS: How to SEND FLOWERS

When choosing an online florist, look for one with years of experience, award-winning service, secure ordering, and satisfaction guaranteed. Industry credentials, customer testimonials, and online awards are a big plus, too.

Consider your own local florist if he or she has a web site. Otherwise, look to the regional and national names, but remember that biggest isn't always best when it comes to personal service. Always try to go as much locally as you can. Compare prices, but also be aware that flowers-by-wire orders are filled to dollar value by the local florists who design and deliver each bouquet individually. So, while a lower price may be a bargain, it may also result in fewer flowers than shown. In other words, when sending floral gifts, saving a few bucks isn't always the best deal. And on the other side - you need to show something by this present - Is that correct?
